The Rim Trail is well-defined and fairly level so is a pleasant stroll for hikers starting from any viewpoint in the hamlet. Explore the canyon by day, and spend the night backpacking below the rim. Alternatively, travel the Trail of Time between the Yavapai Museum of Geology and the Verkamps Visitor Centre for a fascinating insight into the geologic history of this captivating place.
